About our Guest: 

Kevin is an attorney licensed in Colorado, Texas, and Wyoming. He is also a CPA actively licensed in Colorado. His combination of legal and accounting experience makes Kevin uniquely qualified to counsel clients on the complex issues where the law, taxes and financial matters intersect. Kevin focuses his practice on estate planning, tax planning, asset protection and business planning.

Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting) from California State University, San Bernardino, in 1982 and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1988. Kevin retired in 2006 as a Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Air Force Reserves after 24 years of active-duty and reserve service. He served most of his military career as a member of the Air Force Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps.

​He is currently a member of the Colorado State Bar, the Trust and Estates Section of the Colorado Bar Association, the El Paso County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the Colorado Springs Financial Planning Association (FPA). Kevin was selected as the 2009 Best Lawyer by the Colorado Springs Independent. He is a member of the Laureate Circle for Wealth Advisors. 

​Kevin lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his wife and best friend of 28 years, Elizabeth “Beth” Morgan, Ph.D. Kevin and Beth have four children and seven grandchildren. Kevin & Beth enjoy their family and dog, “Timber”, spending time at their place in Orlando, Florida, and participating in tennis and all the other outdoor opportunities that living on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains has to offer.
